Although Back to School Night is the first day of school and you will receive information from your child's teacher and administration, I wanted to give you some basic information to help the first day run as smooth as possible.

Beginning of the School Day: 

• Breakfast starts at 7:45. Students only enter through the north Baker Street gate.
• The front office opens at 7:55.
• School begins at 8:15. The first few weeks are busy. Allow extra time to arrive to school safely and on time.
• Only students may enter through the gates.
• If parents/visitors want to walk their child to breakfast or their morning line, you must enter through the front office and bring your ID. It will be scanned through our system and you will receive a visitor's badge.
• Parents/visitors must say their goodbyes before students enter the classroom. Teachers need their undivided attention as we welcome back to school and get the day started.
• All parents/visitors must exit through the front office. 

End of the School Day:

• Thursday, 8/10 is a minimum day (1:00 pm dismissal)
• Friday, 8/11 is a modified day (2:00 dismissal)
• Kindergarten parents will be allowed to walk onto campus using the kinder gate and pick-up their child from the teacher's back door.
• 1st-5th grade parents must wait at the pick-up areas for their child.
• Students remain outside for 15 minutes after dismissal. You must pick up your child on time. 

Parking: 

• No parking or prolonged waiting is permitted in the drive through areas. Do not leave your car unattended. 
• Park along the street or in a parking stall.
