SUPERINTENDENT'S WEEKLY NEWSLETTER
5.8.26

Dear CSD Families,

This week, we are proud to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of our middle school dance team following their incredible performance at last night’s 2nd Annual Dance Showcase. Our students represented our district with tremendous talent, dedication, and school spirit.

The dance team delivered an amazing performance that reflected countless hours of practice, teamwork, and commitment. We are incredibly proud of the way they carried themselves both on and off the stage and of the pride they bring to our school community.

One of the most memorable parts of the evening was hearing directly from our dancers through special video presentations, where they shared their favorite memories and reflected on what being part of the dance team has meant to them. Their heartfelt messages highlighted the friendships, growth, and confidence they have gained through this experience.

As we continue building traditions that bring our students and families together, events like this showcase the creativity, confidence, and teamwork that make our schools so special.

A special thank you goes to our Rancho Cucamonga Middle School staff, Ms. Lynn Gonzales, Mr. Jeff Maynor, and other staff members who helped make this event possible, as well as to our families for their continued support and encouragement of our students. Opportunities like these allow our students to build confidence, creativity, leadership, and lasting memories.

Congratulations to Rancho Cucamonga Middle School's dance team on a job exceptionally well done!

Take care,

Michael Chaix, Ed.D.

Bubbles, Smiles, and Miles: Our First Bubble Run!

Our playground was transformed into a sudsy wonderland this month for our highly anticipated Bubble Run, and the energy was absolutely electric! From our youngest transitional kindergarteners to our fifth graders, every student had the chance to dash through billowing tents of bubbles and clouds of foam. It was a joy to watch our students embrace the physical activity with such enthusiasm, disappearing into the foam and emerging with giant grins (and quite a few "bubble beards"). Our staff had just as much fun as the kids—many of our teachers couldn't resist getting in on the action, ensuring our runners were as bubbly as possible as they completed their laps!

This event was more than just a day of sudsy fun; it was a powerful display of the spirit of the TOCS community. We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support of our families and neighbors who cheered us on and contributed to this fundraiser. Because of your generosity, we are able to fund vital school incentives and memorable field trips that enrich our students' education and provide them with a truly well-rounded school experience.

On behalf of the entire staff, thank you for your continued partnership. It is your involvement and heart that allow us to create these magical moments for our children. We are so proud of our students' effort and so lucky to have a community that goes above and beyond to make our school such a vibrant place to learn and grow.
